Make Good Immersions invite you to step into the heart of San Antonio’s Eastside to see and understand the challenges our community faces—and the hope that drives change. Through these guided experiences, participants learn the history of our city and how poverty impacts schools, housing, and opportunity. You’ll also encounter the creative solutions The GoodHood is building: social enterprises like Slow Boogies, youth-led photography and storytelling through the Light Catchers Society, and community events like Affordable Christmas that foster belonging and dignity. These immersions are designed to open eyes, stir hearts, and inspire investment—because when we understand the problems and join in the solutions, we can truly make things good.
